Place for my car!

One big thing that I REALLY NEED is someone who has an empty garage/shed/barn etc. that I could keep my car in while I am gone!  Anyone have any ideas?

Funding update

I am so grateful to EVERYONE who has given their funding so far.  I know lots of people have been wondering how exactly I am doing.  So far I have raised $2,700 out of the $5,900 I need.  God has been so good so far I can only imagine what he will do in the continuing weeks!  

Update on my needs.  I went ahead and got my ticket without frequent flyer points.  I have decided that it would be best to use them if I decide to return and teach from January-May which is looking like a good possibility.  If you do have any American Airlines points that you would be willing to donate at that time that would be fantastic.  If you want to get rid of them now in case they expire I would take them now just in case- I would pay the transfer fees.

Fear

Yesterday I received a shocking call from a friend who is also a missionary abroad right now.  One of her and her husbands' close friend has died.  My heart goes out to them and my prayers are almost never ending for them.

To me this brought up a huge fear!  What if something like this happened to one of my friends or family while I am gone?


This is something that I will be adding to my prayers before I leave.  I feel at complete peace, as I have for the past month, about leaving, even strangely enough about leaving my husband for this time to do Gods will..... but aren't I still allowed to have that fear?  Probably not.... God is with me ALWAYS and, just as my friends recently posted in a blog, God has a reason for EVERYTHING.  I just have to continue trusting God, that ultimately in all things his will is good and will prevail.

Boxes

I just had the biggest blessing bestowed onto me.  I answered an ad from craigs list for free boxes and drove up to this neigborhood in Lake Elmo and this very nice couple donated some WONDERFUL boxes of all sizes and huge bags of packing material!  It was such an adventure and the couple loved hearing about my trip to Bolivia.  They were Christians as well and told me "God speed".  WHAT A BLESSING!

God continues to surprise Kelly and I!  Please continue to pray for the support that needs to come in before I can even get a plane ticket!
